The movie Ready is about Salman Khan (Prem Kapoor) who meets Asin Thottumkal (Sanjana Singh) who is running from her con Mamas. Both the mamas can’t see each other eye to eye and in order to get her property both of them want Sanjana to marry their respective relatives.

Followed by initial small fights Prem and Sanjana fall in love and because of street smart Prem, Sanjana also gets to fulfil her mother’s last wish which is to end the fight between two mamas. Though the story sounds simple however when you actually see the movie you understand how intermingled and tangled the story really is. Not that we ever expected logic from Ready as it’s an Anees Bazmee direction, still comedy is what we were expecting but couldn’t get any.
Ready neither has Wanted like action nor Dabangg’s hilarity, though like any other comic genre film, Ready as well have some laughable moments but they are far in between and very few. The story has been dragged and Salman’s dialogue’s doesn’t leave much of an impact.
Performance per se, Salman was his usual self (which is good) and Asin also managed to do justification to her role, however based on a dheela script just like the wordings of song ‘Character Dheela’ I really doubt if Ready will be able to stand on the huge expectations riding on it.
