According to sources, Model turned actress Lisa Ray has locked horns with the organisers of the IIFA awards. Lisa Ray is the ambassador of the ongoing grand award function in Toronto and has made several television appearances in her professional capacity to promote the event in Canada.

Apparently, Lisa Ray was not at all happy with the way she was being treated by the organisers, especially with regards to the fashion show being held as a part of the award function. Lisa, being a model herself, was to play the show stopper for Rajesh Pratap Singh’s fashion show. However, she did not like the dress that was provided to her and demanded that it be changed. Also, she did not want any major Bollywood stars walking the ramp with her since that would automatically take the limelight away from her.
Last but not the least; Lisa is also promoting a project for the aid of cancer patients for which she wanted active support from the organising committee. When contacted, a member of the organising committee team said that though Lisa had some issues, they have all been sorted out. We sure hope so. It is never wise to take pangas with your own ambassador…especially when she is a fiery one!
