So, we thought of telling you about something that royally stumped us. It is heard that Kareena will be wearing a royal necklace worth Rs. 40 lakhs on her wedding day!

Yes…yes… you have definitely read it right! If sources are to be believed, she definitely will walk the aisle wearing that expensive jewellery. But wait… there’s more. Apparently, it will be a full-dress necklace which means; it will run from the neck to the waist and will be studded with gems and other precious stones apart from being a golden structure.
These kinds of necklaces are worn at royal weddings and with Saif as Nawab, guess Kareena felt she needed to have a royal getup too on her wedding and hence the neckpiece. The latter will be made of 400gms of pure gold. It will approximately take two months to finish as it requires craftsmanship and painstaking hard work.
Now if you are wondering, what will she be wearing, we can only say mom-in-law Sharmila Tagore’s designer Ritu Kumar has already been asked to start her work on the wedding dress and with her expertise on traditional attire, we can expect a stunning piece for sure. With so much royal fanfare, we can’t wait to see the first royal wedding of Bollywood! All eyes are now on March 30 which reportedly is the date the couple will tie the knot!
