If we say we are feeling proud of Sonam Kapoor, you would definitely think there is some pun intended. But surprise... surprise! We aren’t kidding! It gives us immense pleasure to say Sonam kept the fashion flag high at the Paris Fashion Week to which she was personally invited by famous designer Eli Saab. Her attire lived up to the occasion and people’s expectation from this fashionista of Bollywood.

Sonam looked very elegant and absolutely Indian in her powder pink net sari with intricate border. She teamed it up with a halter blouse which too had intricate designs and collar detailing. With a sari that graceful, Sonam knew just what to accessorize it with. She wore pearl hoop earrings, a pearl ring and carried a beautiful white clutch. She also kept her make-up minimal with smoky eyes, pink lips and a bun of a hair. She looked absolutely gorgeous.
But what pricked us in this entire splendor is the Eli Saab long sleeved lace shrug which somewhat dulled the total effect of the dress. We can totally understand why she chose to wear it. She was in Eli Saab’s fashion show, so wearing a dash of him was imperative. But we would say you could have done without it. Sari with halter blouse is not only elegant but is sensuous too! Never mind Sonam… you did a fab job anyway!
Watching all this we can definitely say that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan can learn a tip or two about attires she needs to don at international platforms. An Indian girl in a Sari is much more chic than any other garb. So, next time Ash…stick to Sari or at least consult Sonam what to flaunt as when it comes to fashion, Sonam’s taste is unparallel!
