Agent Vinod, the name sounds likes an Indian James Bond! Say this in front of Saif Ali Khan and bear his wrath! The actor has categorically asked everyone to not tag it as Indian James Bond as it is not and he won’t let anyone perceive it that way either!

Saif promises the film will be total desi without any ounce of 007 type treatment. He said that any audience who comes to see the film will not think that they have done an Indian James Bond. This is a very stupid thing to do because firstly, James Bond is a completely English character. From the first scene of the film, people will realise that this is an Indian hero who is very different to the Bond character because they didn't want to make a copy of the Bond film.
Now, these kinds of films always have scope to have a series of films a la James Bond style. The latter has 22 movies in the series while the 23rd is being shot. So, can an Agent Vinod series be expected? Saif said knowingly that if the film succeeds and people like it, he will think about a series. Phew! Thank god! Unlike Shahrukh Khan’s sequel to Ra.One, Saif won’t force more Agent Vinod thrillers on us!
