Raj Kumar Hirani and Aamir Khan might have fulfilled one of the wishes of Anushka Sharma recently. News is that she wanted to work with Ranbir Kapoor desperately and has now got the opportunity to do so as Ranbir and Anushka are the lead actors in Hirani’s next film. Interestingly, if everything had gone as planned, this could have been her second film with the Kapoor lad but Deepika Padukone happened and Anusha got ousted.
Apparently, Anushka was in talks with Ayan Mukherjee to star in his film with Ranbir Kapoor but Deepika said yes to the project and Anushka was left cooling her heels. A source disclosed that Anusha has been extremely keen to work with Ranbir for some time now. The character in Ayan’s film also suited her persona. This could have been a refreshing pair but when Deepika accepted the offer, everyone found the latter to be more suitable than Sharma. It is also said that Deepika’s higher star power also helped her bag the film. Add to that her history with Ranbir and you have a lot to talk on once the film goes on the floor.
Well, we guess Anushka’s interest in dating Ranbir might have forced Deepika to say yes to the project even though she had turned nasty on him publicly. You see some habits die hard! But it didn’t help Deepika much, as Anushka is certainly going to romance Ranbir on screen in another film. Now, whether or not it spills off the screen, is something we will have to wait and watch.
