Aamir Khan is a difficult man to please. He isn’t called a perfectionist for nothing you see. So, recently, when he discovered that Talaash’s climax slightly matches that of Vidya Balan’s Kahaani, he decided to alter it pushing the film’s release to November 30.

Everyone believes that the similarities of Talaash’s plot to that of Kahaani are purely coincidental. Both are thriller tales about searching a missing person. According to the buzz, the likeness ends there as the treatment of both the films are different. But it seems Aamir doesn’t believe in doing anything that is not unusual. If he lets the climax be similar to Kahaani, he isn’t doing anything unconventional. This perhaps made the actor to call for a re-shooting of the climax.
A source told a daily that Talaash was more or less complete. Even a lot of post production work was also finished. But after Aamir realized the film bears slight resemblance with Kahaani, he decided to alter the climax to make it more edgy. He doesn’t want to serve a stale plot to the audience as a suspense thriller needs to jolt people when the mystery is revealed. This also made the makers postpone the release of the film to a later date so that there is an accurate time gap between the two movies.
This is not the first time that Talaash has been postponed. It was supposed to release last year in December 2011 but later was shifted to June 2012. Even the first trailer of the movie had to be released with Agneepath even though the makers wanted it to go with Don 2’s screening. The film is expected to release on November 30 now. Well, we hope the film doesn’t get postponed further as November is a Diwali month this year and is officially Shahrukh Khan’s. But then Aamir always liked competing with Shahrukh than anyone else. We are sure it will be a month of fireworks!
