Ajay Devgn celebrates his 43rd birthday today but the man had already sought blessings from Goddess Kali last Friday. Ajay is in Patiala shooting for Son Of Sardar where he decided to visit a famous Godess Kali temple. It is said that he went to the temple due to the ongoing Navratras as he is a devout Mata devotee.

Unit members of the film said that Ajay’s visit to the temple has much to do with his birthday today. On Friday, a puja was conducted in the temple and Ajay stayed there for a long time post the ceremony was over. Other devotees didn’t seem to have any affect on him as Ajay was too engrossed in his worship for Mata. He stood outside the temple with hands folded in prayer mode. He muttered Jai Mata Di often while on the temple premises. Once, he is done with his puja, he signed autographs for the people at the temple.
As per plan, Ajay wanted to go to the temple on the last day of Navratra but people advised him against it as it would be too packed. So, he went to the temple on Friday. Kajol will join him today in Patiala and then the whole family will go to the temple again to seek blessings. A source said that Ajay normally fasts during navratras but this time he made an exception. He prayed for Son Of Sardar too apart from praying for his family and friends.
