Aamir Khan’s Satyamev Jayate is giving heads of other channels sleepless nights. Nobody doubts the success of the talk show which will supposedly highlight a common man’s pain, agony, happiness and joy. With such a concept that touches a human chord, Aamir is set to make history in Indian Television industry. So, obviously, competitive channels are in a rush to contain the TRPs when it goes on air on May 6 and they had a plan. With the mantra of nothing beats a star but a star in their mind, they approached Aamir’s good friend Salman Khan but the latter decided not be part of any disruption plan for Aamir’s show.

Buzz is that to compete with Aamir’s show many channels had approached Salman with various kinds of shows. But Salman rejected all of them as he didn’t want to compete with Satyamev Jayate. A source said that it is a known fact that Salman and Amitabh Bachchan sell massively on TV. Keeping that in mind, channels went to Salman with shows that would be aired during the same time as Aamir’s show. They were even ready to pay obscene amounts for his appearance, but Khan declined the offers.

The inside scoop suggests that being the show by the perfectionist, every detail has been looked into by the actor himself. To make it grand, he chose the morning slot of Sunday, convinced Star India to share the TRPs with Doordarshan and will air it on eight channels and regional languages. Naturally, the viewership will be monumental. In such a scenario, other channels are doing best not to get lost in the onslaught of Aamir’s motive to make Truth Win!
