A lot is riding on Heroine and Kareena Kapoor is well aware of the expectations. It has been touted as her one of the most challenging roles and so the actress doesn’t want anything to ruin it. She is ready to go to any length to see that her portrayal of an actress in the movie is authentic and sincere. She has got so much into the skin of the character that she went beyond her stretchable limits and was left with a sore throat at the end.

A source informed that in the past few days, Kareena is doing some very sensitive scenes for the movie which needed a lot of emotional breakdowns. She needs to project herself as an actress going through a rough patch in her life in these sequences. Bebo wanted these scenes too be real and so she acted accordingly. Before canning them, she would get into the mood and let the feelings boil up under her. So when she is in front of the camera she is actually screaming out loud at her co-stars Arjun Rampal and Randeep Hooda’s characters. The angst and helplessness are all real on her face as if she actually is the hapless actress she is portraying. Apart from that, she also ditched glycerine use for tears as her conviction was so authentic that she cried for real.
No points for guessing how the people who saw reacted to her dedication. Madhur Bhandarkar, apparently, forgot for a few seconds to call ‘cut’ as he was mesmerized by her acting. But this took a toll on her as the excessive screaming made her throat go sore. It did worry the director but she recovered soon enough to resume work the next day. Well, it seems we can totally expect a spectacular performance by Kareena here. Fingers crossed!
