If we say a movie that has Govinda and Priyanka Chopra in the lead and titled Deewana Main Deewana is soon to release, will you watch it? Not really, right? However, Priyanka Chopra still wants to make sure that the film which is much delayed gets the release it deserves and so, shot an item song to perk up its traction for the audience.
The song is a new age adaptation of the hit Punjabi folk track Kala Doriya. It was recently shot with Priyanka and has Sunidhi Chauhan and Illa Arun behind the mic. Confirming the latest addition to the film, producer KC Bokadia said that Priyanka is a fabulous actress and is ready to be of help in anyway the film needs. He is confident that Kala Doriya will do great for Priyanka’s career as a dancer like what Gori Hai Kaliya did for Jaya Prada in his movie Aaj Ka Arjun.
Talking about his career as a producer, Bokadia recounted that God helped him always. Everyone goes through tough times. When he took Mithun Chakraborthy as Pyar Jhukta Nahin’s lead hero, distributors weren’t happy as they claimed Mithun is a disco dancer and an action star. But Bokadia stood his ground and released the movie. It ran for 50 weeks. Next he made ‘Teri Meherbaniyaan’ where a dog was the hero of the film. It released with Sippy’s Sagar but became a huge hit. So he doesn’t care if ‘Deewana Main Deewana’ is releasing so late. He is confident that it will give boost to Govinda’s career and would help Priyanka touch newer heights.
