Alicia Raut loves to call herself as half Indian and half Russian. Her father is an Indian and her mother is a Russian. She born in Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil and brought up in Andheri, Mumbai. She started her career with a contest “Look For The Year Contest 1999” and became a finalist. After this she got trained by Lubna Adams and Nayonika Chaterjee. In year2001 she started her professional career from fashion week in India. She groomed herself as a perfect model and did not look back till the date.
She appeared in many ramp show and music video. She has tried different projects like anchoring a travel show on Star one named “Exotica.” She has done print, catalogues and item number. She also played a role of a model in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion .
Alicia is a single mother, having a child Mark. She is balancing her motherhood and profession perfectly. Recently Alecia showcased a creation by designer Lanvin, Stella McCartney and Moschino Kitsch, launched by Priya Chatwal and Charu Sachdev in Mumbai.
She also attended other event "Silhouettes 2010 Fashion in Print" Fashion show organised by B.D.Somani Institute of Art and Fashion in Mumbai. John Abraham was the star attraction at the event.
Her hobbies are aerobic and dancing. She is also an Aerobic instructor and Dancer. She is very care about her fitness. She is very conscious about the quantity and quality of the food. She believes that Food never spoils you; you spoil the food by eating the wrong proportions. She took always a balanced diet and water.
