A refreshing face when she first arrived in Tollywood, Bhoomika Chawla si not set for three releases in Tollywood next month, after a long break. Shae shares her excitement with FilmiTadka.
What are your forthcoming movies?
"Collector Garu Bharya" in Telugu with Prakash Raj, "Kalavadiya Pozhudugal" with Prabhudeva and Prakash Raj in Tamil (directed by Thankar Bachchan) , and "Takitha Takitha", our home production (Downtown Films)
Tell us about Takitha Takitha?
Takitha Takitha is a youth film – the story is based on school and college life and the focus is on emotions and relationships. It is directed by Srihari Nanu and the cinematographer is Senthil. There are seven new actors in the film.
You are known to favour women-oriented films. Do you plan to try out something different now?
I take it as a compliment when people say I do women-centric films, but the fact is that I try and do different roles as much as possible, including commercial, serious, and fun.
What inspired you and your husband to start a home production unit for movies, and how did you choose the name?
Bharat wanted to do something film related as well, and since I am working in the industry for a decade now, we both decided to get into film production. Downtown Films was a name that Bharat suggested and I liked it instantly.
How is life with yoga master Bharat Thakur?
Life is beautiful with Bharat. He is very hardworking, caring and loving. He has a great sense of humour and all I can say about him is that he is a true miracle.
