Filmi Tadka

Players is an upcoming action thriller film directed by duo Abbas-Mustan, starring Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Bipasha Basu, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Omi Vaidya and Sikander Kher in the lead roles. It is an Indian remake of the 2003 American film, The Italian Job, and is about a team of thieves who plan to steal gold bullion from a former associate who double crossed them

 

The film was initially supposed to feature Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra but were subsequently replaced by Sonam Kapoor and Bipasha Basu. There are rumours that Sonakshi Sinha, Aishwarya Rai and Deepika Padukone were also being considered for the roles that Sonam Kapoor and Bipasha Basu are acting.

 

The film began its initial schedule on November 9, 2010 and the filming will continue throughout India, New Zealand and Russia. The filming took place in Goa, New Zealand's Wellington and Auckland earlier in 2011, and a long schedule was also shot in Siberia, St Petersburg and other locations in Russia. Players will be arriving in theatres on 23 December 2011 during the holiday season.
